KB Builders was founded in 2011 in Hutchinson, Kansas by Kurt Bauer. However, the story begins in 1990 when Kurt Bauer graduated from NWKTC and became a nationally certified contractor. In 1992, Bauer Builders Inc. was founded in Hays, KS and quickly became a dominant force in construction of new homes and businesses in western Kansas. In 2011, the business was moved to be closer to family and is now operated under a new name.
With over 25 years of experience and a new location, KB Builders was began by Kurt Bauer in Hutchinson, KS in a larger, more efficient facility. This facility includes a custom cabinet shop, large fabrication area, and state of the art equipment capable of constructing new dreams.
